Our SPARK TRAP is a preventative measure to ensure the safety of your metalworkers. You could say that the spark trap can be an insurance that will neutralize the threat of a fatal explosion.

It prevents fires in metalworking, welding, grinding, plasma and laser cutting, powder spraying, flame spraying, mixing of stratified air in ducts, furnace and boiler exhausts, and woodworking.

The SPARK TRAP is engineered to keep hot embers and sparks away from the filters in the dust collector, and thereby eliminating the risk of a fire or explosion.

The SPARK TRAP can be mounted in-line with the existing or new duct work, and it is designed for either a horizontal or vertical setup, providing the versatility to fit into any installation.

When you attach our SPARK TRAP, filter life is also increased by up to 150 percent, which is a drastic reduction of running costs due to longer filter life.

The reason for this is that heavy sparks are removed from the airflow by centrifugal acceleration. Furthermore, all sparks fall into a collecting container in safe distance from everything. To make work even easier the container can be easily separated and emptied during system operation.
