Energy Filtration Solutions – Case Stories
Customized Flue Gas Filtration Solution for DHP
In partnership with our partner, Teldust has developed a customized flue gas filtration solution with our Greenline filter for a district heating plant in Denmark. This plant serves 690 consumers and was facing the challenge of outdated and worn-down equipment. The end customer was focused on meeting current and future environmental regulations while keeping heating costs stable for their consumers.
To address these needs, Teldust designed a tailor-made Green Line filter specifically for this district heating plant. This advanced filtration system ensures the plant meets stringent environmental standards both now and in the future. Our Green Line filters are engineered to effectively capture and filter flue gas emissions with temperatures for up to 128 °C, including the harmful toxic fumes produced during incineration processes, such as burning straw.
At Teldust, we prioritize solutions that offer a low total cost of ownership. This commitment not only helps the plant comply with environmental regulations but also minimizes operational costs, ensuring that consumers experience minimal price increases.
Custom Flue Gas Filter for Heating Plant
In collaboration with our partner, Teldust developed and delivered a Greenline filter system for Egtved Heating Plant, which provides heating across nearly 200 km² in Southern Denmark. This project was initiated to enhance the plant’s environmental profile and future-proof its operations.
Egtved Heating Plant aimed to create a sustainable heating solution with a strong environmental focus. As the client expressed, “It was important for us to have a future-proof heating plant with the highest possible environmental profile and not just a boiler to burn wood chips.” To support this vision, Linka and Teldust worked together to design a system capable of delivering 100% CO2-neutral heat. Central to this system is the extraction of flue gas—the toxic emissions produced during the combustion of biomass like straw and wood chips. Flue gas contains harmful substances such as dust, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide, which vary depending on the materials burned.
Our Solution: Greenline Flue Gas Filter
To effectively capture and filter these emissions, Teldust provided a custom Greenline filter. This high-temperature filter is specifically engineered for incineration plants that burn materials like straw, biomass, waste, and wood chips. The Greenline filter is designed to minimize compressed air consumption, making it both energy-efficient and cost-effective. This solution enables Egtved Heating Plant to achieve its sustainability goals while maintaining operational efficiency.
