Welding & Cutting Filtration Solutions

Filtration Solutions for Welding and Cutting Processes

The welding and cutting industry is a major source of hazardous gases and smoke, which contain harmful particles, including various metal oxides. These toxic fumes can pose serious health risks, especially when they contain fine particles that are easily inhaled and absorbed by the body. Welding processes also generate dangerous gases such as ozone and carbon dioxide, which can be hazardous in facilities without adequate air filtration.

The Critical Need for Effective Welding Filtration

Exposure to harmful welding fumes varies depending on factors such as the rate of fume generation, the frequency and duration of welding operations, and overall work practices. Given these variables, it is crucial to implement a robust filtration system to maintain clean air and protect health in any welding or cutting environment.

Customized Filtration Solutions for Welding Environments

Teldust’s expertise lies in providing tailored filtration solutions that address the specific challenges of welding air purification. Our systems are designed not only to efficiently capture and filter hazardous fumes but also to enhance safety, compliance, and productivity in welding and cutting operations. By choosing the right filtration system from Teldust, you can ensure a safer working environment, protect any workforce’s health, and maintain optimal air quality in your costumer’s facility.

Welding Filtration Solutions – Case Stories

Custom Welding Fume Filter for Machinery Construction

Together with our German partner Valco, Teldust has engineered a custom filter solution designed specifically for welding fumes in a machinery construction facility. The client operates a welding robot along with eight welding workstations, making efficient fume extraction critical to maintaining a safe and productive environment.

Welding generates harmful gases and smoke that pose serious health risks to employees and others in the vicinity. The client previously lacked a filtration system, necessitating an effective solution to ensure clean workstations and safeguard employee health. Additionally, the client required a filtration system that would operate quietly outdoors, minimizing noise pollution.

Our Tailored Solution: FplaV Series Filter for Welding Fumes

To meet these needs, Teldust provided a filter from our FplaV series, specifically designed to capture and extract welding fumes. To address the noise concern, we developed a filter equipped with a noise-canceling casing that operates at less than 70 dB(A), ensuring quiet operation. This versatile filter can function in both recirculation and exhaust modes. During the winter months, using the recirculation mode helps the client significantly reduce heating costs.
